Title 1 Services
Title I is a federal program that provides supplementary funding for eligible students who qualify for services based on academic performance. The Title I program at South Dearborn Community School Corporation serves students in kindergarten through third grade. Student eligibility is based on standardized test scores from mClass and NWEA.
The Title I program provides students with extra support and uses research-based practices to meet the individual needs of students. The purpose of the extra support is to provide all children with a significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency on the Indiana state academic achievement standards and assessments.
