Dear Parents,

We are excited for the start of another school year. The first student day is August 7th.  Our starting bell will ring at 7:50 and students will be dismissed at 2:58.  The students riding the bus will be entering the building at 7:30.  Students being dropped off in the morning will need to arrive early enough to  eat breakfast prior to the 7:50 bell.  Car riders will need to be picked up at 2:58.   

SDCSC schools are implementing a new information management system entitled Skyward.  Parents and students will have access to important information such as attendance, grades, discipline, and schedules.  Skyward has partnered with RevTrak to allow parents to track and manage student cafeteria accounts as well.  Online registration for returning students is also managed through the Skyward system.  

• If your child receives free/reduced books and lunches and you did not receive a direct certification letter, you will need to come into the office and complete the necessary paperwork.  You may come in on Tuesday from 11:00-6:30or 8:30-2:00 on July 18th-21st. 
• All returning students including pre-registered kindergarten students will need to access Skyward through the South Dearborn Community School Corporation website and complete the necessary documents. 

Our staff will be meeting and greeting students on August 5th at Meet the Teacher Night from 5:30-7:00.  Administrators and teachers will be available to answer questions about Chromebooks and Standards Based Grading (grades K-5).
