Natalie Mosier teaches Business/Computers at South Dearborn Middle School. Mrs. Mosier attended high school in Vincennes, Indiana where she was involved in the Art Honor Society, Color Guard, and was the senior class treasurer. She went on to attend Vincennes University, as well as Indiana State University where she received her teaching degree.
Mrs. Mosier has been teaching for 14 years, most of it with South Dearborn Community School Corporation. She spent her first year teaching at a school in North Carolina, but returned home to Indiana in 2003 and began her teaching career with SDCSC the same year.
Mrs. Mosier says that her inspiration to become a teacher was her kindergarten teacher. She says, “I came home my first week of kindergarten jumping with excitement. I LOVED my kindergarten teacher! She was the kindest, most sincere, genuine, teacher. From that point on I always said I wanted to grow up to become a teacher.”
She says that her favorite part of being on the SDCSC team is her colleagues. “We have the BEST staff around! They are helpful, encouraging, and fun.” Mrs. Mosier says that she loves teaching at South Dearborn Middle School because she loves her students. She says, “They keep it interesting and there is rarely a dull moment! I love their constant stories and sense of humor!”
In her spare time, Mrs. Mosier enjoys spending time with her family, including her dog, a German Short-haired Pointer named Jill, and traveling (especially to warm destinations!) She also enjoys cooking, baking, and decorating cakes.
